Dark Web

It honestly amazes me that there aren’t more people talking about how scary the online world can be. I think we always refer to it as the Internet but we never fully acknowledge that there is the Internet, there is the deep web, and there is the dark web. Until I read these articles, I did not even really have a good definition for each category other than known that the dark web is something you stay away from. From reading these articles I can understand that the Internet is just the basic, everyday online search engine that we use. The deep web is a subset of the internet and it is interesting that it is something you have to go to directly rather than be able to search for it. Maybe my brain can’t wrap around this idea but I am not sure how there are sites that you have to go to directly and cannot just search for them before the link comes up; I suppose this can assure everyone I have not been on the deep web since I don’t understand how to get to it! The last one, the dark web, I find to be very interesting because it is not something you can search for at all AND it requires something special to even access it. I think the way that the dark web works as well is extremely interesting and honestly genius to keep the sites it produces going. These sites will make you contribute to them before you are able to keep using for two purposes: to keep new content coming in and it forces people to have their own content on a site and reduce the likelihood that this person will report the site.

The depths that the internet can go to are honestly so scary and if you’re anything like me, then you sat there to dwell on anything that could’ve been posted online that you later deleted and the possibility that it is still floating around somewhere.
